September Super Savers
The top three energy 'Super Saver' schools for the month of September were recently awarded a plaque for their efforts. Southern Middle, Russell Cave Elementary, and Morton Middle beat out all the other schools in Fayette County, reducing the most energy in September 2011 as compared to September 2010. Monthly energy reports are released by Energy Manager Britney Thompson and can be found here on our Sustainability website.

Russell Cave Elementary School reduced their energy usage by 33.25%, bringing them in at second place for the entire district. Pictured are Teachers Julie Jones and Pamela Hambrick, along with E=USE2 students Brandon Ramirez Anavizca and Maribel Roblero.
